Part two of our South American adventure began with a flight from Lima, Peru (Liking Lima, Peru) to Ushuaia, Argentina (El Fin del Mundo (The End of the World)). Ushusia was the starting point for our Antarctic expedition (Setting Foot on the Antarctic Continent). We spent nine days on the ship making our way to the Antarctic Peninsula and back. After flying to Buenos Aires (Welcome to Buenos Aires???) we headed north overland through Argentina by way of Córdoba and Salta. Iguazu Falls, on the border of Argentina and Bazil was a site to see (Bits and Pieces of Argentina). We returned to Salta and then walked across the border from Argentina into Bolivia making our way to La Paz (Worst Travel Day Ever or Learning the Hard Way). On the way to La Paz we spent time in Córdoba, the Salt Flats and Sucre (The Silver City of Potosi Boliva) (Bolivia – From the Salt Flats to the Big City). As we flew to Rio de Janerio (Rio de Janerio) and Salvador, Brazil Afro-Brazilian Salvador we had traveled almost 12,000 miles on this part of the trip.

Wow Tina! Thanks for sharing. You made my day! 🙂
