Southeast Asia – Map One

Leaving Adelaide, Australia we flew to Denpasar, Indonesia and enjoyed several days in the vacation-land of Kuta Beach. We took a bus toward the center of Bali to the highland of Ubud for a couple of days and then a ferry to the small, tropical island of Gili Aire. A ferry ride, bus ride and plane ride later we were in remote Labuan Bajo. Our goal in going to Labuan Bajo was to see the Komodo Dragons (Wonderful Indonesia). After a quick ferry ride out to the tiny island of Rinca to see the dragons we flew back to Denpasar’s airport and on to Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Jogja had many sites to see and then we took a high-speed electric train ride to Jakarta. After an overnight stay we flew to Singapore for a few days and then on to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Cities, Cities and More Cities). This leg of our travels included more flights than we would like to take but they are so inexpensive it was hard to resist.
